Carthago Delenda Est!
Carthago Delenda Est; Carthage must die! It is a rallying cry echoing over the millennia. The stories lost in the sands and winds of old Earth have moved on. They are trapped in the symbols of new powers. The habitable gas giant of New Carthage, located in the Delta Pavonis system, was meant to be a new hope for science, peace and faith, an experiment in the greatness of Humanity. It failed.
Today, political strife threatens to shred it to pieces and the greedy Crimson Syndicate, a criminal cartel now at the pinnacle of their power, desperately tries to hold it together. At their core is their claims of ancient legitimacy with the Koh-i-Noor or Blood Diamond, a lost artifact of old Earth. But as the old nations return and seek to rebuild, the United Kingdom and an unlikely group of agents and thieves must seize what was taken in the darkest days of Humanity when all of Earth had fallen to outside forces.
Robert Howe leads the greatest heist in history, the theft of the Blood Diamond. But an alien, a thief and a priest are not the usual suspects to help the seasoned spy. Howe tries desperately to face the greatest challenge he’s ever faced without incurring the wrath of the Great Powers or getting in the way of local rumors and wars. But the Koh-i-Noor holds legends of its own, and the vanity of governments leave them balancing on the fortune of one man alone.
